-People put up pictures of themselves drinking and doing other inappropriate things, and this can be a turn-off for colleges and certain jobs 

If you are talking about how it SHOULD NOT be banned, you can elaborate on some of the following: 

-It is a good way to keep connected with people you do not normally get to see, such as family, distant friends, etc. 
-It is a good way to reconnect with people who you have lost connection with, such as old school friends, etc. 
-It is a good way of sharing your experiences with your friends 
-It allows you to share interests, plan events, invite people to and inform people of events, etc.
